For those of you that can't make the trek to Watkins Glen and/or Mont Tremblant, North Country Region (NCR) and Northeast Region (NER) are co-hosting a Drivers Education as well a Vintage event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) in early August.
This is a mid season event and by now you should be hitting your groove and if you're not, there is no better way to polish your driving skills than to attend this event.
For those of you that are driving vintage vehicles and are tired of dealing with the newer technology that is ever present at DE’s, we are offering 2 Vintage run groups, Not as Fast (NAF) and A Little Faster (ALF)
NAF’s include 356’s, 912’s, 924’s incl turbo, 944’s non turbo, 914’s, all 911’s up to 1983, Boxsters up to 2004.
ALF’s include 911 Carrera’s through 1989, 928’s, all 930’s, 964’s incl turbo’s, 968’s, 944 S/S2/turbos, Boxster S through 2004.
All makes and models are welcome at our DE events
Please Note:
A Head and Neck Restraint System commonly known as a HANS device, is now Mandatory for both students and instructors when a five, six or seven-point harness or certain approved 4 point harnesses are in use. All Head and Neck Restraints must meet SFI 38.1 or FIA 8885 or its successor certifications.
A suitable Roll Bar or Roll Cage is RECOMMENDED when Race Seats, Harnesses and Head and Neck Restraints are in use.
A suitable Roll Bar or Roll Cage along with Race Seats, Harnesses and Head and Neck Restraints provides students and instructors with a COMPLETE SAFETY SYSTEM.
If so equipped, all facets of an Automatic Collision Avoidance System will be disabled prior to entering the track and driving at speed.
